A typical aisle step and nose configuration for telescopic seating systems with a 9.625-inch rise incorporates a typical aisle nose with a 2-inch wide black contrasting color non-skid adhesive strip placed one inch maximum from the leading edge. The step tread features a 2-inch wide black adhesive strip placed 1 inch from the leading edge and a grey blend color adhesive strip centered on the step, within dimensions of 2 feet and 1 foot from the reference line. An aisle gap closure constructed from 1/8-inch black plastic is installed to within 1/2 inch of the step at aisle locations, mounted to the nose using eight number 10 self-drilling pan head Tek screws per closure.
