The assembly consists of a one and one-half inch outside diameter stainless steel grab bar attached to a three and one-half inch outside diameter stainless steel wall flange. The flange is anchored to the wall through the finish surface into wood in-wall blocking using three two-inch minimum stainless steel mounting screws. A minimum clearance of one and one-half inches is maintained between the grab bar and the wall surface. The installation must be capable of withstanding two hundred and fifty pounds of force applied in any direction.
