A patient lift cover assembly suspends from a gypsum board ceiling supported by framing joists and backing plates. A quarter-inch diameter threaded rod secures through the gypsum board ceiling into the overhead framing. A half-inch diameter brushed aluminum tube covers the threaded rod below the ceiling line.
