A partition wall assembly features cold-formed steel studs and gypsum board finish. A steel stud track backing plate spans between studs to provide structural support for the grab bar. The grab bar mounts through the finish material into the backing plate, maintaining a minimum clearance of 1.5 inches from the wall surface. The partition assembly is constructed as scheduled.
