A WT section brace frames into a vertical HSS 8x8 hollow structural section column and a horizontal W8x wide flange beam sized per plan. The brace connects to the top flange of the beam via a WT shape welded or bolted in place. The horizontal beam frames into the face of the HSS column with a bolted connection utilizing a work point designation at the intersection of member centerlines.
