This gypsum board soffit and light cove assembly is framed with four-inch and six-inch light-gauge metal studs faced with five-eighths-inch gypsum board. An integrated LED light fixture is housed within the recessed cove pocket per electrical drawings. Elevations for the bottom of the gypsum soffit, acoustic tile ceiling, and general soffit reference the reflected ceiling plan.
