An interior storefront head frame connects to a metal stud framing wall assembly featuring continuous fire-retardant treated timber blocking and a box header as required. Five-eighths-inch gypsum board finishes both sides of the stud wall, terminating at the storefront frame with a typical corner bead. Insulation fills the stud cavity, and a scheduled ceiling abuts the wall assembly per the reflected ceiling plan.
