An entrance grille sits recessed into a concrete slab adjacent to scheduled sheet flooring. The assembly maintains a flush transition using a metal trim piece at the edge of the flooring material. The seven-eighths-inch entrance grille is supported directly within the formed recess of the concrete floor.
