The gypsum board of the interior partition is cut to follow the profile of the cross-laminated timber beam and fireproofing with a one-quarter-inch minimum to three-eighths-inch maximum gap. Continuous acoustical sealant is applied to each side of the partition, matched to the sealant utilized with the partition head system. Framing within the partition is shown dashed, with the cross-laminated timber deck coordinated per the structural drawings.
