This assembly secures rooftop equipment, with or without a spring insulator base, to a structural substrate via an anchor and a welded steel plate. The base is waterproofed using a PVC roofing membrane and PVC-clad metal, which are integrated with a minimum four-inch stainless steel return flashing. Waterblock sealant is applied at the interface between the flashing and the steel plate to ensure a watertight seal. The system is finished with a reinforced fluid-applied flashing layer over the membrane transition.
