An aluminum storefront framing member is set against insulated glass units joined with a one-quarter-inch butt joint. Structural sealant by the manufacturer seals the glazing assembly between the glass lites and the storefront mullion. The glass layers consist of dual-pane insulated glass units meeting at the vertical joint.
