Typical concrete curb and housekeeping pad configurations supported on a concrete slab with a four-inch minimum thickness. The concrete curb includes two continuous number four reinforcing bars, a three-quarter-inch chamfer unless noted otherwise, and vertical dowels spaced eighteen inches on center with standard hooks or optional drilled and epoxied number three dowels at twelve inches on center. The housekeeping pad features perimeter anchorage per plan, number four reinforcing bars at twelve inches on center each way, and optional construction joints with perimeter dowels. Edge distances, minimum clearances, and embedment depths are specified for proper structural load transfer.
