A concrete mowstrip is installed to separate all sod from mulch areas with a one-inch reveal at the planting bed. Control joints are placed at five feet on center, and expansion joints are placed at twenty feet on center and at all hard surface abutments. The assembly features a tooled edge with finished grade at the sod.
