The jamb is constructed from double sixteen-gauge studs, secured typically with number ten sheet metal screws. Two variations are shown for maximum four-foot five-inch spans, detailing the connection points for Header A and Header B. The headers frame into the jamb studs with fasteners spaced as indicated on the drawing.
