A six-inch outside diameter galvanized and painted steel pipe is filled with concrete and anchored to a concrete slab. The base secures to a half-inch by nine-inch by nine-inch hot-dip galvanized embed plate with two half-inch diameter A36 rods welded with a three-sixteenths inch fillet weld. The assembly bears on a seven-and-a-half inch thick post-tensioned slab reinforced with two number five bars at six feet zero inches each way and a one-quarter inch weld at the embedded plate.
