A 2-inch concrete topping slab is poured over a metal deck floor assembly. A 5-inch by 5-inch base plate with epoxy anchors secures the handrail verticals into the floor slab, wrapped with black Delrin trim. A solid wood inset, similar to WDFL1-1, is embedded into the lower concrete step with an eased edge.
