A flat screen television is secured to a wall support framed with 3-5/8 inch metal studs at 16 inches on center backed by 3/4 inch fire-retardant treated plywood and finished with a VN-1 casework panel and solid wood bullnose. A flat wall mount for steel studs connects the television to the wall assembly. The soffit framing is concealed with 5/8 inch gypsum board extending to the deck and includes a cable management raceway for the television antenna. A continuous 5-inch slot is provided in the fire-retardant treated plywood with junction box holes field-cut to coordinate with technology sheets.
