A new sixty mil TPO single-ply membrane is mechanically fastened over a quarter-inch Securock gypsum board and an OSB deck using membrane screws and plates. The adjacent membrane sheet overlaps and is secured with a hot-air weld. Securock screws and plates provide auxiliary mechanical attachment through the cover board into the substrate. A minimum eight-inch dimension is maintained at the flashing edge.
