An interior 90-degree corner intersection features metal studs framed and finished with one-half inch gypsum drywall on each side. The outside corner is protected with a metal drywall corner bead embedded and finished with tape and joint compound. Joints at intersecting wall surfaces are similarly finished with tape and joint compound over the gypsum board. The cavity framing consists of standard steel studs arranged to form the right-angle corner junction.
