An embedded 6-inch steel channel acts as the gate track within a reinforced concrete header set into asphalt concrete or concrete paving as occurs. The assembly is reinforced with continuous number 4 bars on each side tied with number 4 bars 15 inches long spaced at 24 inches on center, alongside number 4 bars spaced at 24 inches on center. A 1 1/2-inch by 1 1/2-inch angle with Nelson anchor bolts at 24 inches on center and 6 inches from the ends anchors into the concrete track. Concrete paving wraps the exterior per civil engineering specifications.
