A curtain wall louver head assembly intersects with a concrete floor slab and wide-flange structural steel framing. The structural-sealant-glazed curtain wall integrates an architectural storm-resistant louver and an insulated glazing unit, with a metal backpan assembly. Mineral wool insulation is installed within the cavity, and joint firestopping with a smoke seal is provided at the floor slab edge. Non-structural metal stud framing backs the assembly, and curtain wall attachments are provided by the manufacturer.
