An ADA-compliant handicap parking sign assembly consisting of a 12-inch by 18-inch MUTCD regulatory sign with a vinyl graphic and an optional van accessible placard mounted on a 3 pounds per linear foot galvanized steel channel post. The post embeds two feet below finished grade into concrete pavement over compacted subgrade. Installation requirements specify that concrete wheelstops are required when the sign is positioned within two feet of the curb, and signs must not project more than 4 inches past the post.
