A painted hollow metal frame sits beneath a structural header, shimmed with a continuous corrosive-resistant shim and backed by blocking per the door installer. A stainless steel drip edge flashing integrates with flashing at the head condition, sealed with continuous sealant and backer rod on both sides. A scheduled partition meets the interior side with sealant and caulking typical.
