A 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch by 12 gauge by 2 inch steel angle clip is fastened to the underside of a structural steel beam flange. The clip is secured using a 0.157-inch diameter Hilti power-driven anchor with a 1-inch embedment, complying with ICC-ES Report No. 2184. A suspension hanger wire is looped and secured through the clip with a maximum 1/2-inch offset.
