A cold-formed steel track connects to a 16-gauge continuous sheet steel member using three number ten sheet metal screws at sixteen inches on center per flute. Two number eight sheet metal screws at sixteen inches on center maximum are fastened typically, with four provided at jamb studs. Number eight waferhead screws are used typically for additional framing connections.
