A partition wall as scheduled rests on a concrete slab with a one-quarter-inch clearance. The assembly includes acoustical insulation within the stud cavity and gypsum board on each side. A fire barrier sealant is applied at the outside layer of the gypsum board on each side at rated partitions. Acoustical sealant is used at full-height partitions with acoustical insulation. Fasteners secure the bottom track to the slab per referenced details.
