This corridor soffit detail frames a multi-tier ceiling junction with five-eighths-inch gypsum board on three-and-five-eighths-inch metal studs spaced at sixteen inches on center. Metal corner beads finish the gypsum board edges at the soffit transitions, with bottom of gypsum and bottom of acoustic ceiling heights coordinated per the reflected ceiling plan. Wall types and dimensioning are referenced back to the architectural floor plans.
