A fire-rated wall extends to the deck above, framed with three and five-eighths inch metal studs and sheathed with two layers of five-eighths inch Type X gypsum board. The ceiling assembly is located two feet one and one-quarter inches below, finished with gypsum board and coordinated per reflected ceiling plans. The laundry chute assembly is integrated adjacent to the partition as referenced on floor plans.
