An aluminum saddle threshold spans the floor transition at a partition, measuring one inch wider than the partition assembly. The saddle rests on beds of sealant atop the substrate and features integrated weatherstripping at the exterior side. The scheduled door fits above with a maximum clearance of one half inch from the threshold surface.
