A six-inch diameter, quarter-inch thick minimum steel pipe guard post is embedded within a twelve-inch diameter concrete footing. The concrete-filled steel pipe extends four feet above the finished grade, with the concrete top sloped and painted to match the post. The footing extends three feet below grade with a three-inch bottom clearance. Exterior paving or concrete surrounding the post in landscape areas is placed two inches above the finished grade with half-inch rounded tooled edges.
