A C12x20.7 galvanized steel stair stringer bears onto concrete paving and connects via a 3-inch by 3-inch by 5/16-inch angle, 6 inches long. The angle is welded to the stringer with a quarter-inch fillet weld and anchored to the concrete paving with a three-quarter-inch diameter expansion bolt.
