A grab bar mounting bracket is anchored to a reinforced metal stud wall framing assembly. The partition uses either 3-5/8 inch by 1-1/4 inch by 18 gauge or 6 inch by 1-1/4 inch by 18 gauge metal studs matching the partition type per the floor plan, spaced at 16 inches on center. Horizontal blocking constructed from a 6 inch by 1-5/8 inch by 16 gauge unpunched metal stud is notched into the stud flanges and fastened with three number 10 sheet metal screws to each stud. The grab bar mounting bracket is secured using metal wedge anchors. At the base, studs connect to the metal stud track using number 10 sheet metal screws, supplemented by two shot pins on each side of the stud.
