A two-foot wide concrete v-gutter is flanked by asphalt concrete pavement. The gutter consists of Class B five-sack concrete with weakened plane joints spaced every fifteen feet, formed with a six-inch thickness and a two-inch center depth creating a quarter-inch drop. The pavement assembly features asphalt concrete over Class 2 aggregate base placed on original ground compacted to ninety-five percent.
