A light fixture is installed within a suspended acoustical ceiling grid supported by main runners and cross runners. Steel outriggers span across the grid members to carry the fixture weight and are attached with number twelve wire featuring three tight turns within one and a half inches. The fixture is positively attached to the outriggers using a minimum of two sheet metal screws on each side. A slack safety wire sized per fixture weight requirements is anchored independently with three tight turns within one and a half inches.
