An exterior rooftop pipe support and vertical extension assembly utilizes a closed-cell polyethylene support block and a thirteen-sixteenths by one-and-five-eighths-inch fourteen-gauge galvanized strut channel. Piping is secured to the strut using standard strut clamps and accessories, with loads centered on the strut to distribute weight evenly across the assembly. Two-hole corner angle fittings with three-eighths-inch hex head bolts and three-eighths-inch strut nuts connect the vertical extension framing, allowing adjustable piping heights from six to twelve inches. Field verification or the vertical extension assembly is used to provide slope to drain for condensate lines, alongside an expansion loop spaced at typical two-foot intervals.
