An architectural framing detail showing the head, jamb, or sill interface at a rough opening. The aluminum framing member is set against a concrete substrate and shimmed as required. Sealant is installed over a backer rod at each side of the frame perimeter, supplemented by exterior caulking to weatherproof the joint.
