Fire-rated glass is secured at the head assembly using a horizontal mullion frame and intumescent tape, with a connecting brace and M6 button head socket cap screws. Mineral wool insulation extends fully into the cavity above the framing. The exterior joint is sealed with sealant and a backer rod, and a horizontal cover cap finishes the assembly. The frame is anchored securely with an anchor bolt and a hardwood spacer.
