A hollow metal frame with a painted finish is fastened to a mounting bracket at the partition head. An acoustic gasket is installed at the door head interface. The partition thickness coordinates with the frame throat sizes, ranging from one and one-half inches custom to two inches manufacturer standard. The frame head requires reinforcement at locations where door closers are scheduled.
