Suspended ceiling support assemblies anchor to the metal stud joist sub-structure above using 12 gauge vertical hanger wires and 45 degree diagonal splay wire bracing. A 1 inch by 2 inch by 12 gauge steel strap connects the wire bracing at a 90 degree angle for perpendicular partitions and at a 45 plus or minus 10 degree angle for parallel partitions. Each wire features four tight turns at connection points. This assembly applies to suspended ceiling installations where the load on each fastener exceeds 90 pounds.
