This roof valley detail shows a concrete substrate supporting rigid insulation and a protection board beneath a PVC membrane. The waterproof membrane is secured using a mechanical fastener system and sealed with hot-air welds along the seams. A stainless steel deck or structural support system occurs below the concrete deck as required. The valley configuration directs drainage across the protected roof assembly.
