An eight-inch Class A Portland cement concrete curb and gutter rests on base rock over lime-treated subgrade. The gutter pan features an eighteen-inch width, a one-inch vertical lip, and a one-inch radius transition. The monolithic concrete section is reinforced with number four bars placed three inches from the top and bottom. Asphalt concrete or concrete paving abuts the curb with variable base rock depth. Scorelines are spaced at ten feet on center unless otherwise noted.
