An insulated steel sectional door track mounts adjacent to an exterior wall with a three-eighths inch bent plate jamb guard extending to plus four feet zero inches. The jamb guard is secured to the wall using one-half inch diameter wedge anchors at twenty-four inches on center and finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel paint. A weather seal runs all around the perimeter where the assembly meets the exterior wall. A dead bolt latch is located six inches above the top of the jamb guard.
