A continuous metal parapet coping caps the masonry wall and is secured with a continuous metal cleat on the exterior face using gasketed fasteners. A treated two-inch wood nailer sits atop the wall with a wood fiber tapered edge strip that provides a one-quarter inch per foot slope for positive drainage. Waterproofing membrane extends below the nailer and is secured to the wall. One-quarter inch by four-inch masonry screw anchors at twelve inches on center staggered anchor the assembly.
