Metal stud wall framing connects to ceiling joists using continuous tracks secured with number 8 screws at eight inches on center, supplemented by two number eight screws at each stud to top track and blocking. Ceiling ties measuring three and five-eighths inches by eighteen gauge are fastened to each joist with one number eight screw. Interior finishes are specified per floor plan and finish schedule.
