An L4x4x1/2 angle nine inches long connects to the assembly using a one-half inch thick connection plate secured with a total of four connection bolts. The framing incorporates a one-foot four-inch by eight-inch by one-half inch thick typical end plate welded with five-sixteenth inch fillets spaced at four inches on center. Additional connection plates and bolts tie the structural members together at the work point.
