A roof drain installation is set into DensGlass roof sheathing with tapered rigid insulation. The assembly incorporates a reinforced membrane over the insulation, terminating at the roof drain bowl with a continuous bead of sealant. Tapered rigid insulation slopes toward the drain at a minimum of three inches to one horizontal foot at the drain sump. The roof drain is installed per the manufacturer's specifications with threaded fasteners and clamping rings securing the membrane.
