An aluminum frame is centered on a six-inch metal stud wall with wood blocking and shims providing anchorage. Metal J-molding finishes both sides of the gypsum board at the frame transition. Continuous caulking is applied all around both sides of the frame joint. Glazing type is specified per the window frame schedule.
