A pipe penetrates through the roofing assembly and is protected by a seamless lead flashing over a steel-reinforced boot. A counterflashing sleeve with Permaseal waterproofing compound fits over the pipe and is secured with three vandal-proof set screws. The top collar is sealed with roof mastic or sealant per specifications. The overall assembly requires a minimum seven-inch height from the roof surface, with a five-inch minimum boot height and two and one-half inch minimum clearance.
