An exterior door with a sweep seal meets an aluminum threshold set over a floor panel and existing concrete floor. The adjacent floor assembly consists of three and three-quarters inches of tile, grout, and concrete topping over one and one-quarter inches of leveling sand, with both layers noted as being installed by others. A two-inch mandatory backfill is specified adjacent to the existing floor construction.
