This plan detail shows the jamb condition for a steel sectional insulated door meeting an exterior wall panel. A three-eighths-inch bent plate jamb guard extends to plus four feet and is anchored to the wall using half-inch-diameter wedge anchors at twenty-four inches on center, finished with two coats of safety yellow gloss enamel. A three-inch heavy duty track supports the door, positioned with a dead bolt latch located six inches above the jamb guard. Continuous weather seal is provided all around, maintaining the required minimum clearance to the adjacent roof structure.
